Tanah Lot Temple: Visiting Bali’s Famous Sea Temple

Tanah Lot is a small temple perched on a rock just off the Tabanan coast, one of the island’s best-known sunset spots.
Visiting
Cliff paths and viewpoints surround the site, and shops and cafes line the approach. At low tide visitors can walk across to the base of the rock.

The inner temple is for worshippers. Dress modestly and respect ceremonies.

It gets crowded near sunset, so arrive early and allow time for traffic.
