What to see

Best time to visit

The dry season, from roughly April to October, brings clearer skies. The wet season keeps the rice fields at their greenest, with showers mostly in the afternoon.

Getting around

Ubud’s lanes are narrow and busy. Most visitors hire a car with a driver for day trips, which makes it easy to combine several stops in one day.
